SOUKYA, Dr. Mathai's International Holistic Health Centre, is a unique facility that helps restore the natural balance of your mind, body and spirit by combining modern medical advancements, ancient medical techniques and complementary therapies used worldwide. The centre is located on a 30-acre organic farm. There are nine buildings – the medical centre, the administrative centre, the yoga hall, the therapy centre, the dining hall, and the residential clusters - all built in the South Indian traditional style, making use of as many local and handmade materials as possible. All buildings are ground-level structures, helping the body to connect at all times with the magnetic force of the earth. A 2.2-kilometer walking and jogging trail encircles the whole property and runs along the inside perimeter of the surrounding fences. There are also opportunities for cycling, and walks to two nearby villages can be taken with the accompaniment of SOUKYA staff.

SOUKYA has patients coming from all over the world from over 70 countries. The centre offers medical need-based programmes for specific diseases and chronic & incurable conditions. A detailed Comprehensive Holistic Health evaluation is done on the patients arrival and an individualized treatment programme is planned by the panel of doctors. The centre also offers wellness programmes to relax, rejuvenate and improve health. Life management programmes to improve the quality of life and treatments for lifestyle diseases like Hypertension, Diabetes etc are offered. The programmes are monitored by Qualified doctors in each system of medicine and the treatments are implemented by well trained therapists. The patients are reviewed by email, fax or telephone and medicines are dispatched.

Entire focus of the treatment at SOUKYA is person-oriented rather than system-oriented. The emphasis is on the Prevention of Illness, Early Intervention and Health Promotion.
