“Knowing that I have a world-renowned homeopath/MD/ayurvedic doctor/ acupuncturist who has my records and knows my basic physical composition available by email gives me enormous peace of mind. On those rare occasions when I begin to show symptoms of illness, the first thing I think to do is send an email with my symptoms (of mind, body, spirit) to Dr. Mathai for review. Many have been sick for as long as two or more months. I was back to work at a half-time rate and with naps following work, the second week, 3/4 time the third week, and nearly fully normal the fourth week. I am most grateful to have this type of help available--where I don't have to get dressed and leave home when I am too sick to be up and out; go sit in a doctor's office or an emergency room and be exposed to all the other things going around; and most of all, don't need to take antibiotics which always cause me to have a lot of unpleasant side effects while driving the illness deeper into my being. In my opinion, this type of treatment does require that you be sufficiently aware of your own body/mind/spirit to adequately report all your symptoms to the doctor and, best of all, to feel like you are a partner in your own recovery.
